Offshore Crane Operator

Our client is currently in the process of deploying a Jack-Up unit to carry out drilling operations in the Dutch Sector of the North Sea. They are looking for various qualities to man the positions on the rig during this operation.

The crane operator must ensure all operations are proceeding in a safe manner, and correct or notify responsible person of any unsafe actions and/or conditions. Inform the Rig Manager or Barge Engineer prior to any equipment/weight move. Ensure correct hand signals used for crane operations. Responsible for rigging and moving of equipment and materials. Ensure all deck / equipment maintenance areas are kept clean and all tools are properly stored or racked in designated areas at all times. Inspect the cranes daily and lubricate as required by the maintenance manual. coordinate maintenance on all tanks, e.g. water, cement, ballast and mud.
