Chief Mechanic

Our client is currently in the process of deploying a Jack-Up unit to carry out drilling operations in the Dutch Sector of the North Sea. They are looking for various qualities to man the positions on the rig during this operation.

The Chief Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair and safety of the generators and other mechanical equipment and operations on the rig floor. Other duties are planning preventive maintenance of all mechanical and hydraulics equipment on rig as well as being
responsible for QHSE of crew working under him.

•  0.5 Offshore Safety Introduction and Emergency response Training (BOSIET / FOET)
• OGUK Medical
• Basic Safety VCA / MIST (Rig Pass)
• Detailed TRA / PtW training
• 1.4 Gas Measuring
• 2,7 Coxswain Lifeboat
